A recent accountment of AICTE to remove the 75% attendance rule for Engineering students is fake according to AICTE........👍

AICTC is going to scrap the 75% attendance in Engineering colleges

{{{{
"On 17 January 2018, AICTE sent a letter to every institution approved to AICTE. The letter stated the subject as "scraping of 75% attendance and introducing voactional projects." This clearly indicated that the letter is about scrapping which in this instance means removing the 75% attendance rule and bringing in some vocational projects which we will see later in the post. According to the letter, this new law is to be followed from 18 January 2018.

Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) has introduced this new rule due to some inability in updating the syllabus to latest technology and advancement on regular basis, which indicates 'how back we are in terms of technology?????'
Due to lack of advance syllabus and new technologies in colleges, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) has decided to scrap the 75% attendance rule, so that students can have "hands-on" experience in various sectors.
75% attendance removed by AICTE

How "hands-on" experience can be obtained????

According to the letter, students have to submit vocational projects i.e projects out of syllabus in the field of your hobby, or your branch. One vocational project for each semester has to be submitted by the students, if anyone fails to submit, he/she won't be graduated. It also states that one must possess 3 successful internships by the end of the 8th semester.
This will ensure that students will learn something and will receive experience in their particular branch.

Why is this new circular applied???

According to latest study from National Sample Survey office (NSSO), Ministry of statistics and programme Implementation and AICTE carried out in late 2017, about 57.43% of Engineering Graduates from various technical institutions across the nation remain unemployed due to lack of skill and continuous rote learning (mugging) to clear the graduate level examination.

75.93% of Engineering graduates are unable to code any programing language even after basic programing courses being a mandatory in the early semester of B.E/B.tech.

To lower the unemployment and increase the number of quality Engineers graduated every year, MHRD has decided to implement this rule.

How Institutions gonna react????

Institutions have to accept this rule as this is an AICTE approved circular, which means it's not possible to negotiate. Institutions must have to make provisions for this rule which are:

  1. Avoid plagiarism in vocational projects: It means that, institutions must take care that vocational projects are not copied or inappropriate. The project must be self-initiated and innovative.
  2. Provide internships to students in/or before their final year: Often institutions have problem providing internships but due to this rule, they should provide internship to each and every student without fail, in or before Final year of students.
  3. Upload/Preserve Vocational Projects till the Degree is Awarded: The Institution is asked to preserve the physical projects and upload the digital projects of each student until they are graduated.

When will be this rule initiated????

MHRD will be conducting workshops and Seminar to spread the awareness of this rule in the coming month so that this rule is smoothly spread without any controversy."

How Good this feels!!!!,right??, a relief from 75% attendance but sadly it's not gonna happen any soon.
AICTE FAKE CIRCULAR
It's a Fake

THIS ALL IS FAKE ANNOUNCED BY AICTE OFFICIALLY, MHRD HAS STATED THAT, IT HASN'T ISSUED ANY CURRICULUM.

Mandatory attendance of 75 per cent has been introduced in education at all levels following a Supreme Court judgement. So, it won't be removed without any nationwide argument.

Who is the one that spread this fake Circular????

According to me, someone has gone through a lot trouble and researched a lot before creating this circular because each and every statement on that circular is true, according to the studies, except the scrapping part.
My guess is that this might be a Engineer who hasn't found a Job and is frustrated with this Education system and wants to change it. Be aware of such fake news.

This circular is viral on social media since few days, so share this post to let them know that their hopes Soared, and this won't happen soon.
