Youtube app might receive major features in future...!!!!

Awaiting features for Youtube might be seen in future....

Well, there's a service known as google 9to5 that goes or sweeps through the code of the application to reveal the hidden code that might reveal some hidden feature or the upcoming feature that the company might be planning to execute.
These service has gone through the youtube application on android and IOS which revealed the hidden feature that might be seen in mere future.

It's been a while since Youtube has added any major feature to it's application. There are many feature to the website version that the application didn't receive. This might have been a disappointment for many users and they would have loved to see those feature on application too.

These are some of the feature that Google 9to5 has uncovered to be yet released:

1. Dark theme for Youtube.
2. Incognito mode.
3. Swipe to skip ads.
4. New auto play setting position.

Let's go through all of the feature one by one, to know what it might effect in future.

• Dark theme for Youtube:

Everyone might be aware of the dark theme of the youtube that was introduced on Youtube desktop website in the Mid 2017. It was one of the best features that the public was waiting to see, since most of the people prefer using Internet rather in night than day due to several reason such as school, work, travel,etc but an anti-glare with dark background with some shades of Gray was the option to provide for users using at night. But, unfortunately this wasn't made available to the youtube application which was drawback. Everyone would like the dark theme to be applied to their mobile application at night. The code has revealed that there might be a chance of dark theme being available on the application.

• Incognito mode:

Youtube well definitely has an option to pause search and watch history but an incognito mode will be a better option. Youtube's Incognito mode will be same like that of chrome with a toggle to on\off. It will be available on the every youtube page, which will be better rather than going into settings and turning ON the option to pause history and following the same process to OFF it. It will function just as the incognito mode of chrome. This might also be available in the future updates.

• Swipe to skip ads:

One must click on the banner provided at the right bottom corner of the video to skip ad after 5 seconds. It's sometimes might to annoying to click on the banner to skip ad. It's not a feature that everyone wanted to see, but might be time-saving for some. One can just swipe anywhere in the video to skip the ads after 5 seconds of viewing. This feature only works after 5 seconds of viewing the ad and on skip able ads only.

• New position for Auto-play settings:

Currently auto-play setting is deep in the settings of youtube which is kind of annoying to users who hate auto-play. I personally hate the auto-play feature in some instances. This setting in future might be available on the main settings page. You can access it by scrolling the settings until you find the auto-play setting.

These feature are found as a hint in the source code of Youtube application. They are definitely the features that youtube is working on but we aren't sure that they will seen in the future. Due to bugs or other factors, some features might be discarded.
