The LG company will be going to unveil it's next-gen flagship which is codenamed as "JUDY".
In early 2018,LG said that it would no longer stick to it's annual launch cycle and would update their phones where needed.Earlier this week, there was a change in plan and the company announced that it will be going to launch a new variant of the V30 at MWC 2018 that will start starting February in 26 in Barcelona. Now,however, as per latest report suggest that the company is planning to unveil it's next-gen flagship which is codenamed as "JUDY".
The smartphone will be arriving in June this year 2018.According to reports it has been said that Judy will be a diffrent device and won't be called as G7. Our Reports also says that the smartphone couls boast a 6.1 inch 18:9 display with support for HDR10 and will sport a new type of display technology.Further,the MLCD+ panel with white sub-pixels will provide 800 nits of brightness that will consume less than 35% of power than a regular LCD display. Comparatively, the G6 had a 5.7-inch 18:9 display with a resolution of 2880x1440 pixels.
The reports suggest that the smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset combined with 4GB of RAM The RAM here seems to be on lower side, given the fact that most premium phone out htere comes with atleast 6GB of RAM. The Judy could include a 16 MP dual rear camera sensors with f/1.6 lenses.Also,the phone will be having a feature of wireless charging,"BOOM SOUND" stereo speakers, IP68 durability, voice assistant and with camera AI.
Previous rumors claims that LG might redesign the G7 flagship smartphone from scratch. The G7 was slated to launch at MWC later this month, with a release date for sometime in March. It also believed that the company is considering to rename it's G-series.
Besides, the company's Vice Chairman and CEO Jo Seong-jin,earlier that they will not launch new flagship smartphones "just like other rivals do"
