Redmi 5 is one of the most awaited smartphones to be launched. It is the successor of Redmi 4 which was also a successful for the company. It's gonna be like a better version of Redmi 4 with infinity display 18:9 aspect ratio.

Well, it was launched in China before a month ago. Initially only 2GB Ram/16GB storage and 3GB Ram/32GB storage were launched. Last week, 4GB ram/32GB storage variant of Redmi 5 was launched. Yet, it is unknown when would this smartphone be launched in India.
But, Xiaomi has sent invites to the Indian media with a '5' logo on it, for the launch of first smartphone in 2018. Well, it is certain that this is the Redmi 5 that will be unveiled on 14th February.

When you see the box in which Redmi 4 was delivered, there is only a '4' logo on it. So if the invite has a '5' logo it sure must be Redmi 5 considering the past series unboxing.
Anyway we aren't sure about 4GB ram variant will launch in India this soon as it was just launched in China.
